Christmas 2014 was not without
the usual drama and surprises! Mom said YES to join the Leong-Husseys in Nyack!
Shocking! But for the rest of us, it eliminated the need to celebrate with her
on another day. Which was a blessing since it's difficult enough to get everyone together for one day, much less two days.
The weather was usually warm. Traffic was nicely light.
We missed Kris & Baz and it just enforced how important it is to have
family all together during holidays. At least we were able to Skype with Kris which was amazing and had my mother in awe.
Bicky did it again...another incredible feast showcasing a beef tenderloin to die for and loads of sides and veggies to satisfy any vegetarian. I provided the appetizers: cheese and antipasto platter and pigs in a blanket. No question that Kathy, the consummate baker would supply the desserts.

Secret Santa went off beautifully. And I have to admit...I did/do love being the "ring-master" in this whole "game".
Nikki & Tom presenting me with the wedding book was the highlight of my night and year!
