Hunt & Fish Club

Every once in awhile...let someone just spoil you extravagantly!!  I let that happened tonight.  Lugo took me out for my birthday...(yes, it's April...so what? LOL).  He ordered as if we had 6 other people with us!  Regardless....it was decadent & superb!!

My appetizer: Tuna Tartare with pineapple

2 perfectly "cooked to taste" slices were served onto my plate.

The Fourth

Leslie sets the bar high!  She made reservations at The Fourth located on 4th Ave & 13th Street in the Hyatt Union Square Hotel.  Beautifully appointed in wood and minimal lines, it also has a terrific brunch menu.  A trio of musicians played in the background and we were never rushed or interrupted. It was warm enough to have the french doors opened slightly to let in a welcoming breeze.

After the delicious and filling meal, we walked along the Union Square area ducking into stores that captured our interest and then finally landing in the very busy people-filled park.  Found a bench, took in a little vitamin D and enjoyed each other's company for awhile.  A pretty divine Sunday!
